Top 3 anticipated lenovo laptops in 2014

2014 is promising to be a splendid year for laptops, especially with Lenovo revealing its lineup. There are more than a dozen laptops that are expected to rule this year, but I’m making a list of top 3 here:

Lenovo Ideapad Y40, Y50, Z40 and Z50

Although Lenovo is adding new to its lineup with other models which we will shortly back get to, Lenovo is also refreshing its prior lineups with performance Y and multimedia Z being most prominent. Now Y50’s screen resolution is 3,840 x 2,160 with backlit keyboards and an option of using a touchscreen. In Z series, specs are same for Z40 and Z50 but you get an optional NVIDIA 840 M GPU, along with capacity of maximum 16GB RAM and 1,366 x 768 display with an option to upgrade to 1080p.

Lenovo Miix 2

Lenovo Miix 2 offers same design as original Miix but this time they’ve made it a consumer product, they have restricted pen input, and they have made it sleeker. Miix 2 is available in 2 sizes, 10inches and 11 inches. The 11 incher is more powerful though running on Core i5. Other features like 8 hour battery, full sized USB port on dock, optional 3G and JBL speakers are same.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon

Once again, Lenovo has come up with another refresher. This time, it’s ThinkPad. One and a half year later, Lenovo is refreshing its Ultrabook by giving it a 2,560 x 1,440 screen and an adaptive keyboard having light-up controls that can be customized with your need based on the application you are using. Another exclusive feature is its extremely light weight. This amazing laptop is only 3 pounds heavy despite having a touchscreen possibly becoming lightest laptop with a 14 inch screen.
